General Information

TAE Upgrade Program

Who is this for?

While it is currently not a requirement for those who have TAE40116 to upgrade to TAE40122 according to the Standards for RTO 2025, it is important because it ensures that trainers and assessors are equipped with the latest industry knowledge, skills, and practices required to effectively train and assess learners.

Additionally, holding the latest TAE credentials and demonstrating that you have current knowledge and skills in vocational training increases your employability opportunities by being one step ahead!

Guidance and support are available every step of the way from our local trainers and assessors.

Delivery options

  1. GOING SOLO - RPL and Credit Transfer
Whilst most of the units from TAE40116 to TAE40122 are not equivalent, they have been enhanced requiring additional evidence. As a practicing VET professional, you will be able to provide evidence of your current work and we’ll guide you through the RPL to ensure sufficient evidence is provided. Click on the Evidence Requirements green tab at the top of this page to view the full list required. If you can provide all of the evidence, then this option is for you!

  2. GUIDED UPGRADE - Training and Credit Transfer
For practicing VET professionals who want structured support and flexibility to upgrade through a blend of RPL, CT, 2-day course and self-paced activities.
